The Borsari Group, founded in 1955 in Pieve di Cento (BO), today is an international Group of companies that operate in the trading and processing of agricultural commodities and in the production of renewable energy. The Borsari Group includes seven sister companies with different areas of expertise: crop farming, rice cultivation, the trade in grains, cereals and oilseeds; Borsari S.p.A. sector leader in Europe for organic agriculture and the exportation of organic grains; the Neorurale Group, an international player in the livestock and pet care sector; Galbani Group, involved in the production and distribution of dairy products; Ser.In.Gas, which operates in the green economy sector through the promotion and distribution of natural (“green”) gas. Borsari operates throughout Italy and exports its products all over the world, with a turnover that in 2019 amounted to around 600 million euros. The Group's headquarters are located in Nonantola (MO), while its operating offices are in Pieve di Cento (BO) and Cento (FE). The main shareholding in the Group is held by the Borsari family.
