Wooden Frame Market Overview in Brazil
In value terms, wooden frame production rose remarkably to $ in 2019 estimated in export prices. In general, production, however, continues to indicate mild growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 when the production volume increased by % y-o-y. Over the period under review, production hit record highs at $ in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2019, production remained at a lower figure.
The revenue of the wooden frame market in Brazil fell slightly to $ in 2019, declining by -% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). Over the period under review, consumption, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of % year-to-year. Brazil consumption peaked at $ in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2019, consumption failed to regain the momentum.
