Frozen Fruit Market Overview in Slovenia
In value terms, frozen fruit production declined notably to $ in 2018 estimated in export prices. Over the period under review, production, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2009 when the production volume increased by % y-o-y. Slovenia production peaked at $ in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2018, production failed to regain the momentum.

This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). Overall, consumption, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011 with an increase of % year-to-year. Over the period under review, the market hit record highs at $ in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.
